About

Togainu no Chi is a post-apocalyptic Japanese boy's love (ie. male x male relationships/sex) compter game created by Nitro+chiral. The main character, Akira, is forced to compete in the game Igura in order to gain his freedom from jail. The game is 18+ because of violence and sexual content (all boy's love games normally are). The game has some of the most stunning and well done computer graphics I've seen which is why it's an absolute favorite of mine.

Due to Togainu no Chi's popularity many incarnations across various media have been developed in recent years. In May 2008 a Playstation 2 version of the game was released called Togainu no Chi TRUE BLOOD. There are two manga versions of the story. One is by Yamamoto Kana which ran in Biblos' Magazine ZERO and is a volume in length. The second version is by Chayamachi Suguro. It is running in comic B's-LOG in Japan and is still ongoing (currently at 7 + volumes); it is being released in the US by Tokyopop. Currently an anime is also in production.
