This fanlisting was adopted from the lovely Janice and these next bits of info were written by her for the original fanlisting:
If you're an avid scanlation reader, I'm sure you know more or less about ShoujoMagic because it's one of the biggest scanlators online! Previously known as ShoujoMagic.org and often referred to as SM for short, the site was launched at December 2002 as a scanlation group website by Siana and Chry18. The first projects at SM were BxB Brothers, Ichigo Channel, and the famous Hana Yori Dango. Though HanaDan is now dropped by SM since it was licensed in North America a while ago, we've still got 200 something manga series from SM's pocket to drool over! And they release daily too!

Janice, the original owner interviewed Siana: before SM was officially a scanlation group, it had been a subdivision at Leely as a fansite for Hana Yori Dango. The fateful encounter between Chry18, owner of Leely and Siana, the current webmistress of SM, resulted in a team dedicated to scanlations which are not too just for little girls. The growth rate of SM has been simply amazing ever since the start - I'm sure you know the rest of the story =)

So why do I love ShoujoMagic and why did I want to adopt this fanlisting? Well to put it simply, SM simply scanalates some of the best shoujo series out there. They have a lean toward smutty shoujo which tend to be my favorites. If you love good shoujo there isn't a better place to visit than SM.Net ^_^

The layout features a scan from the smutty shoujo manga Fukigen na Aibu by Kitagawa Miyuki (a favorite series and manga-ka of mine ^^). It was edited by me in PaintShop Pro 9 and hand-coded in EditPad Lite.
