AboutNamura Shin'ichi and Akizuki Meiko are two of the secondary characters in the shoujo anime and manga series Marmalade Boy. Meiko is best friends with Miki, the main character in the series. She is beautiful, serious, and dreams of being a writer. Namura, known as Na-chan for short is a teacher at their school and coach of the school tennis club. The next section will contain spoilers.Na-chan and Meiko were in love with each other, despite being student and teacher. They kept their relationship hidden, but it is found out and as is to be expected people are not happy about it and Meiko's parents are extremely against the relationship. Na-chan quits his job and moves back home to Hiroshima. He thinks this will be best, so that Meiko can forget about him and move on with her life. That doesn't happen (of course, not, this a shoujo series) and Meiko is miserable while he is gone. Miki is hurt at first when she discovers Meiko had kept this secret from her, but decides to help her and Na-chan as best as she can. Meiko eventually meets up with Na-chan in his home town and Na-chan realizes that he can't live without her anymore than she can without him. As the series ends, Miki receives a photo in the mail from Na-chan and Meiko's wedding (ahhh ^^). This is obviously a very brief summary of their relationship. I hope to eventually add a more detailed about section to this fanlisting. Na-chan and Meiko both loved each other deeply and have a very emotinal, sweet and memorable relationship. If you are as much a fan of their relationships as I am, I hope you will join! :) CodesJoin/Update/MembersTo join the fanlisting please click here.To update your information please click here.
