Sohma Momiji and Honda Tohru are two characters from the anime and manga series Fruits Basket. Some spoiler free background information: The Sohma's have an unusual family curse. When hugged by the opposite sex, they turn into an animal from the Chinese Zodiac. Momiji happens to be the rabbit. Tohru meets him for the first time in episode seven of the anime and volume two of the manga. Momiji are very close from the time they meet and their relationship remains a very close one as the manga progresses.
