A fanlisting is a giant list of fans from all around the world for a particular subject. This fanlisting is for the relationship between Landon Carter and Jamie Sullivan, from the book and movie, A Walk to Remember. It was adopted from Monica and was originally owned by Nancy.
Landon and Jamie seem like complete opposites and at first neither can stand the other. As they unwilling spend time together and get to know each other, the two begin to develop feelings for each other. In short order, Landon and Jamie are in love, but there is something about Jamie that Landon does not know. She is sick with an incurable type of cancer and will likely not live long enough to attend college, let alone plan a life with him. At first Landon is overcome with pain and anger at Jamie, God, and the world. Slowly, he begins to realize that Jamie came into his life for a reason.
He decided to be there for her regardless of how long he will have with her, savoring each moment he can. He sets out to make all of the dreams Jamie has on her list come true: being in two places at one time, getting a (temporary) tattoo, and perhaps most importantly getting married in the small chapel her parents were married in. Though Jamie and Landon were not able to share a long life together, it is clear that they met each other for a reason. They taught each other about life, loving, and the things that are important in this world and by doing so left an indeible mark in each other's lives.
