Kurono Kei is the main character in the anime/manga series Gantz. Before going any further, I shall note that Gantz is a very graphic manga and anime. It contains large quantites of explicit nudity and violence and should not be read or watched by anyone who can not handle (or isn't old enough to handle) those types of themes. Back on point now, Kei is one of my favorite male a/m characters. The great thing about him imo is that he does not start off loveable. In fact, I'd say he starts out as a completely selfish bastard. Granted he gets himself into a seemingly selfless act right at the beginning of the series, but he doesn't really start growing into his character (for lack of a better word) til the story takes off (imo once the manga gets past what has been animated). In the more recent chapters Kei has become a truely amazing character and I anxiously await reading more of the series to find out how his story shall end! ^_^ Eventually I shall add a link to a more detailed about section that will be spoiler ladden, but for the moment I wanted to keep this relatively spoiler free since the anime has only recenetly begun being released in the US and the manga as of yet is still unlicensed.
