AboutKiriya Aoi and Karino Karin are the two main characters in the ten volume long manga series, Kare First Love. Some minor spoilers below.When the series begins, Karin is a shy and unnoticable girl with glases who can't stand up for herself. Kiriya on the other hand is cool and noticed by all the girls. A chance meeting leads to Kiriya discovering just hope beautiful Karin really is under the glasses. With his help, she comes out of her shell (but physically and personality wise). They fall in love with each other and face many trails together (mainly in the form of family interference and obligations). Together they overcome them and following their passions (Karin loves to play piano and begins to model/act because of her looks and Kiriya is a very talented photographer). Kiriya and Karin are probably one of the most adorable and sweet couples you will find in a shoujo manga series. Even their angst-filled moments quickly turn sweet.
