It was originally owned by Annie. NOTICE: Please note that the below summary contains SPOILERS for the movie and should be read with caution if you have not seen the movie in its entirety. House of Flying Daggers is a Chinese movie directed by Zhang Yimou. It is in part martial arts film and love story (with the love story element taking the predominant role in the movie). Jin is played by Takeshi Kaneshiro and Mei is played by Zhang Ziyi. Jin and Leo are police officers who are trying to find and kill the new leader of the strong and powerful rebel group, the Flying Daggers. To accomplish this, they develop a plan to capture Mei who they believe is the blind daughter of the former leader. After arresting her, Jin pretends to rescue her from jail in the hopes she will lead him to the Flying Daggers. The plan is very elaborate and Leo and Jin even stage a fake battle to try and recapture them. Things get complicated for Jin when he and Mei are captured by the Flying Daggers and he finds out that he has been played all along. Leo is an undercover agent for the Flying Daggers and Mei is not blind and is not the daughter of the former leader (she is only a member of the Flying Daggers who was playing that role). I'll mention at this point that along their journey, Jin and Mei fell in love with each other. This makes things especially hard for Mei since she is now ordered to kill Jin by her superiors. As if all of this was not complicated enough, Jin finds himself entangeled in a love triangle between Mei, Leo, and himself. As the main characters find themselves wrapped up in a complicated web of deceit and deception they are left with one question. In the end, what will prove to be victorious: Loyalty or Love?
