Affiliates This Fanlisting?A fanlisting is a giant list of fans from around the world for a particular person, place, or thing. Enticing was originally owned by Daisy, who allowed me to adopt it in August 2005 :)GravitationGravitation began as a manga series which was/is written by Murakami Maki. It was twelve volumes long (the 12th volume was plublished in 2002) but recently Murakami has begun to continue the series. New chapters can be found in Web Comic GONZO (Track 55 Part 2, the first new chapter, was in the July issue). Web Comic GONZO is available in both an English and Japanese edition. The manga has been licensed in the US by TokyoPop.
A thirteen episode anime series began being in 1999. It was released in Japan on both VHS and DVD. A 60 minutes Gravitation OAV was released in 1999 in Japan. Both the tv series and oav have been licensed by Right Stuf in the US. The tv series has already been released (on four dvds) and the oav is set to be released in September 2005. The following is the Gravitation about blurb from the Tokyopop website (refering to the manga):
The following is the OAV about blurb from the Right Stuf website: Now, thanks to Shuichi's big mouth bragging to the press about how talented he is, the band can't even hire someone else to write the lyrics for them. If they don't manage to break Shuichi out of his slump soon, it could mean the end of Bad Luck for good! OAV MusicThis is the section that most readily relates to this fanlisting's subject: The Music of the Gravitation OAV ^_^ All of the music in Gravitation is wonderful (not surprising since music plays such a large part in the series). The OAV imo opinion has the best Gravitation music. Out of all three Gravie mediums (manga, tv series, oav) I've always placed the OAV at the bottom of my list but, the music in it is my favorite music in any anime period. From the lyrics, to the songs to the background music, it is all complete and utter love. Smashing Blue, Blind Game Again and Shining Collection are my all time favorite Gravie songs and Yuki's theme is my favorite piece of background music :) A soundtrack from the OAV was released in 2002. You can find a picture of it and the tracklisting bellow.
