Want to be one? AboutGakuyaura Ouji is a two volume long manga series by Sakurakoji Kanoko. It is being published by Viz under the title Backstage Prince and is running in the American monthly shoujo manga magazine, Shojo Beat.Backstage Prince is about Akari, an ordinary high school girl who is pretty clueless about boys. One day she follows a stay cat (who is really Mr. Ken) into a kabuki theatre (a second thing she is clueless about). She sees Horiuchi Ryusei there, a cute boy from her school that she ran into the other day (literally). He is the famous kabuki actor, Ichimura Shonosuke. Even though Ryusei is famous, he does not do well in situations with alot of people (or any kind of contact with even one person really). Akari eventually begins working as Ryusei's assistant and as both fall for each other, Akari begins to learn about kabuki and Ryusei begins to learn how to deal with people. Akari becomes someone who can calm down Ryusei's nerves when he is stressed by contact with others and both start to depend on each other and fall very much in love. They're both adorable, the series is adorable, and most chapters end on a nice all inclusive note, which is a lovely change from the cliffhangers most series have each chapter.
